Chocolateria San Churro at Leederville.

Day 7 we wanted to eat churros...

Tapi tak ada rezeki... We went to 2 outlets but both were closed due to christmas and boxing day. 

So we just sambung shopping... 

Mr H tried machine bayar sendiri ni kat K Mart...payah katanya hehehe... 

Rela que bayar kat cashier... lagipun cashier kat sini  ramah... mesti greet kita...how are you?  how is your day? Etc etc :-)

Then malam tu, we visited papa's friend yang dah jadi PR di Perth. 

Mereka baik hati pinjamkan car seat untuk Aiz... dan masak dinner pula untuk kita.

Day 8 we tried lagi ke San Churro.. Our flight was about 5pm.

So that morning after siap packing, kemas rumah and check out... terus ke Leederville... nak sangat rasa churros di San Churro ni. Alhamdulillah ada rezeki kita.

Wow for the ambiance...

Wow also for their spread of desserts.

Stay focus... we came here for churros okeh!

We ordered churros fiesta set with  18 churros and six dips.. habis sekelip mata!

Dips boleh pilih dan campur campur.. Kita ambil 2 ice creams, 1 caramel dip , 2 chocolate dips and strawberries.

Memang sedaplah churros kat sini... Crunchy outside, soft inside.

Spanish chocolate dip tu pun sangat rich and creamy...

Teringat-ingatlah sampai ke hari ni...

Tak cukup ice cream dalam cup... tambah yang cone pulak.

Settled churros...sempat lagi singgah beli cherries and blackberries 

I love cherries... sanggup beli cool bag semata nak bawa ni.

Lepas beli tu semua, apa lagi ... Bekejarlah ke airport.

Inilah quiet room a.k.a surau kat Perth Airport. 

Sangat selesa, siap dengan tempat wudhu.

Quiet room ni ada di belakang kedai car rental. 

Kalau masa masuk Perth mudah ... 

Masa nak keluar susahlah pulak ...

Beg abang Rizq tak lepas....

Tahu kenapa?

Dia bawa hair spray ... sebab tu lah rambut dia tak goyang ditiup angin...hahaha

Balik Malaysia nanti rambut dia goyang, sebab hair spray dah kena rampas... kesiann hehehe.

If you spend a minimum of Aud300 on goodies, jangan lupa simpan receipt untuk claim gst refund before boarding ye... 

Counter untuk claim tu berada selepas imigresen dan sebelum tempat checking hand luggage... 

Kena tunjuk barang yang beli tu kat dia ...tapi kalau beli corelle.. mestilah nak check in kan... pandai-pandailah convincekan pegawai tu.

Since kita lunch dengan churros je, memang looking forward nak makan nasi lemak Pak Naser ni.

Alhamdulillah selamat sampai Malaysia, the last 2 days in Perth was quite hot ... itu yang Aiz sampai Malaysia je, rasa sejuk agaknya, terus zip jaket dan pakai hood lagi hehehe.

Okey uols ... jom sujud syukur ... akhirnya habis juga cerita Perth ni...huhu.

Boxing day in Perth

Teringat boxing day masa zaman-zaman uni dulu... 

Masa tu lah nak menyopping...sales giler-giler kan...

Kedai belum bukak... que dah macam ular kena ketuk kat pintu masuk. 

I always look forward to boxing day those days...sebab sales really really cheap ... 70%...80% ...90% okeh.

The business hour usually is extended to give more time for customers to empty their wallets...

Memang meriah ala-ala member day kat  Aeon or Sogo gitew...hihihi.

I had the same imagination about boxing day in Perth. 

Before headed to shopping malls... I made nasi lemak for breakfast... with chicken rendang .The rendang was delicious and so simple to make, only 3 main ingredients, chicken, Adabi rendang paste and Kara santan .. sugar and salt to taste. 

The heavy menu was to make sure the kids were full and leave us alone with our shopping mission.... Ko yakin boleh? Hahaha.

Ok so we were mentally and physically ready to que and searching for good bargains ... 

Only to find out that we did not have to que at all!!...eh mana semua orang ni? 

Rupenye boxing day here was boxing days ... the discount is the same for few days or the rest of the week or more than a week...not only for the day ... so what is the rush?

This was the itinerary for boxing day... 

Semua shopping areas ... no sightseeing for that day.

Apa mission kami? 

Corelle must be one of the list... 

The price sememangnya cheaper here..

Because it was a boxing day (and few more days) there were 30% discount for them at big W, Belmont Forum Shopping Centre.

 

What else... what else?

Selected charms were also at discount...50% if I have not mistaken. Too hard not to purchase some.

Other than these 2 things.. we did not know what we purhased there, were really a good bargain or not...with the same discounts we may get better price in Malaysia because of currency.

Of course the kids had their own mission too...yang ini memang mission impossible...cannot say no huhuhu.

Dekat Belmont, memang centre dia di Belmont Forum ni lah.. Coles, Woolworth, K Mart, Big W ...etc etc. They even have halal food at their foodcourt. 

Lepas lunch, we rushed home for solat and keluar lagi.

May be there were more happening places .... may be kami salah tempat shopping.

So we headed to the city centre...

It was difficult to get good and cheap parking...

We wasted time making few rounds looking for one... 

When we finally just parked and paid whatever available...

Majority of the shops already closed..huhuhu... 

There were bargains ...but we were late...5pm sudah tutup kedai lorrr...

London Court is a nice place to visit ... tak shopping pun tak pe... Just posing...:-)

We decided to just go home... 

Takut kedai kat Habour Town pun dah tutup...

Balik masak tom yam untuk dinner... really recommend this paste... sangat sedap. 

That was the end of our boxing day... after dinner just watched tv and indulged sweet juicy fruits.

Picnic at Mandurah Terrace...Lake Clifton and Cottesloe Beach.

Hari ni hari krismas... 

Si Aiz dan Daneen excited tunggu Santa... Santa tak mai pun hahaha.

Apa nak buat on Christmas day? ... Kedai banyak yang tutup... 

The locals biasanya akan picnic kat beach ... kita pun nak picnic macam the locals jugaklah...

Nak kena masak besar-besaran hari ni...kedai makan tak sure buka ke idak...but before that...

kena buat morning routine... washed all the dirty clothes...cita-cita nak balik M'sia bawa baju bersih semuanya...hahaha. Bukanlah rajin tapi kalau bawa balik baju kotor ... jenuh juga saya nak buat laundry since bibik still bercuti.

Then the cooking started ...hari ni nak masak special sikit... jauh kita nak berjalan ni...mission turun ke bawah Perth City pulak.

Sementara mama masak... Aiz ronda neighbourhood dengan papa...

Aiz tu pakai dan pilih baju sendiri... nak berdikari... baju baymax... seluar spiderman... hihik

 

masak kari kambing, ikan bilis goreng kicap dan nasi for breakfast... heavy duty pepagi.. :-)

Kita tak rush pun nak keluar... breakfast dan lepak-lepak kat luar.. cuaca pun sangat nice... about 26-27 degree sahaja.

Ada big bbq set kat luar rumah... it would be nice to have one bbq night but it seemed that 6 nights stay was a really short stay...

untuk picnic kita masak spaghetti  bolognese and brownies.. 

Aiz dah mandi and we were ready to go...

The traffic to Mandurah... was ok at first but then, we encountered unexpected traffic jam .. Mr H almost wanted to turn back to Belmont... may be heavy traffic because semua orang balik raya... hihihi... nasib baik tak lama mana.

Akhirnya sampai juga di Mandurah Terrace... 

Initially we wanted to have a picnic at the Cottesloe beach, tapi takut panas since kita keluar agak lambat .. 

It was very windy that day.. freezing cold pulak tu...nak makan pun susah.. kena control tudung nak terbang... 

See... the locals were having their good time together... somehow the locals looked more like the internationals to me...haha.

So lepas habis makan, keriau budak- budak suruh stop playing at the playground... sebab kita nak make a move to Clifton Lake. But before that kita nak solat..

Asked around, there was no mosque near Mandurah... so we decided to solat outside this information centre... ambik wudhuk di restroom.. nasib baik terre ambik wudhuk kat sink... lepas selesai basuh sebelah kaki... tetiba kat belakang ada anjing sorang makcik ni duk perhati ... so very near to me!!...seriously i felt like jumping into the sink... kalo tak fikir boleh runtuh sink tu... memang aku lompat...huhuhu. Terpaksa buat cool sebab my littleladies were also watching...

Lesson to my kids... kita boleh solat di mana sahaja... bersyukur hidup di negara kita, kemudahan solat banyak tersedia...kami solat beralaskan cardigan Dhia sebab tak bawa sejadah... lepas tu kita tinggalkan cardigan tu kat situ buat macam public sejadah ..huhuhu.

Kat Lake Cliffton kita nak tengok thrombolites...

Agak sukar nak cari tempat ni, there was only this small signage that direct you there.

Apa itu thrombolites?

Bukan batu...

Mama ni asyik bawa kita tengok batu jer... commented the kids... ayayaya hihih.

Tengok tu si Daneen, orang belum habis posing-posing... dia dah nak balik...jomlah kita gerak ke Cottesloe Beach pulak .... kita tengok sunset.

Ramai juga orang tunggu sunset ni...
