Handling a year one student is not easy... either for teachers or parents. It is not the same as kindergarten. First few months Ayra used to cry a lot for she misplaced her text book or activity book or her writing book.... she just 7 but forgetful like old folk.
The other day she cried in the morning ,she could not find her activity book.... yes morning when everybody rushing to get ready for school or work. I tried to help by looking for it but at the time like that, normally you can't find anything and it could easily raise your blood pressure.
Parents : the symptom of hypertension - the rising tone of your voice....
And that evening she told me that actually she had submitted the book to her teacher the other day.... haiyaaa... buang karan je cari.... what is wrong with her memory actually... padahal markah hafazan dan segala yang kena hafal tu quite tinggi juga....
On the other time she lost her music book, but this time it was not her fault but little Aiz threw the book out from the window and landed on the parking roof. And I said to her "may be you submitted to your teacher..." cheeah belajar dari pengalamanlah konon... but she denied it. That book was a writing book so it was a bit easy to solve... I told her to buy and replace the book from bookshop at school. Being a standard one and with zero confidence, it was hard to convince her that there were no monsters at the bookshop.
Parents : sometimes we have to do extra....(effort)
So I had to follow her to the bookshop ( I was on leave luckily) and showed her that it was so easy to do 'shopping' ( the real problem with shopping is only... money, money, money!). Then after that day... she has gained confidence...so mak nye pulak lah kena siap dgn duitnye... ade je barang nak beli...
This morning, again! she lost her book and this time it was a math text book.... and confidently she said she will buy the book at the school bookshop and think that it will only cost RM1.... and I think I'm the one who scared now.....
